Ms Christina Karakosta has just completed her Master thesis entitled “Trust Issues in Sharing Economy: A study based on Sentiment Analysis in Social Networks”. Her dissertation was submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Applied Economics & Data Analysis of the Department of Economics, with supervisor the Prof. Manolis Tzagarakis. A copy of her presentation to the Dissertation Committee on the 18th of September 2018, can be found here. Her thesis can be found here.
We are working together with Christina for more than 9 months and I have enjoyed very much the research collaboration with a so hard-working, effective and gentle partner. I am very happy that she was accepted for an Erasmus+ internship at UCL’s Department of Computer Science. She will continue her research on trust and the sharing economy with Dr Giacomo Livan. Dr Livan was awarded an Early Career Fellowship of the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council entitled “Reputation, trust and privacy in the Sharing Economy: A network science approach”. Congratulations to Christina on this new start!
